That is OK. It is DC shorted antenna. No matter for RF.

Yes it doesn't move when I run the channels....Weird
I know that antenna is very broad-banded and reportedly produces low SWR’s over a wide range of frequencies, but it seems there should be some variance across the CB band even if it’s not much.
when i get home from work I'm gona throw the old coax back on and double check this

I wouldn’t either, Homer. But Mark says his needle doesn’t move at all. And the antenna is only 4’ above the ground during testing. Just seems a little odd to me, that’s all.
Well, it should most likely be tested at the antenna if at all possible with a 6-inch jumper and an analyzer or portable radio or even a walkie talkie "just trying to cover the bases" that way you could see if there is first a different reading at the antenna and second a conflict with the coax length. Remember the loss of power being delivered to the antenna through 130 feet of coax could be significant and should be measured by inserting a meter at the antenna and comparing it to a measurement of power at the radio the reason being if there is significant loss it would also result in a lower reading on the SWR meter as the loss would be experienced both in the forward and reflected directions. You could also through a 50ohm load at the end of the coax and see what happens. W9cii covered some of this in his charts just thought I would try putting in words.
My GM is Flat Flat Flat across the CB band. Flatter than a pancake.
