dream of finding a warehouse full of new old school AP's somewhere?
gamegetter, believe it or not, what you suggest has already happened.
A few years ago Henry HPSD told us that someone was releasing for sale a warehouse with lots of old Avanti antenna products. Bob85 got two AstroPlanes and he really likes his.
Both Tuner and I tried to get our orders in for the AP, but that never happened.
....well that is truly indeed intriguing. i once located an astro plane still up on a rural farm home i happened by once during my work travels. after a few months I went back to talk to the owner about it only to find out the place had sold and the new owner remodeled the home, having gutted a lot of stuff including the old antenna which of course he had no idea what it was. so it lies in a land fill some where!!
