What conversion did you have done to the Silver Eagle?Thanks Dan ,I'll check Ebay or talk to the guy that did the conversion on my Silver Eagle see what he comes up with .

Contacted Bob via email, he stated a resistor is put in base amp board.

Red , Not sure who's kit he used , but he uses a Cobra 2K like myself , I heard his & had to have one . It added more Bass to it & nothing but good reports on mine also . I would think the kit is similar to the one W2 sells .
W2ENY has decent stuff. I have a Yaesu MD-200 desk microphone. It has a 2 position switch to toggle between 2 different elements and I replaced one of those with an element from W2ENY and have the best of both worlds.

Yup! That thing is small. My switch is failing, have to watch the readout or needle to see if it's working. Agrivating, pos. I could send whole thing back but no packaging.
Where you get the switch? Is I worth a "switch"?

Try a little deoxit on the switch and exercise it about 50 times. That's what I did to mine. I heard wd40 works too.
I bought a pair from eBay, I believe from the link Nomad posted, or at least from the same seller.
Mine was scratchy from the factory and quickly grew worse. Replacement has held up fine. No symptoms yet.
So...for the price I’d say very worth it.

Just mobile mics today...another D104M6B, (2)SRA-198s, (2) Turner RoadKings, a RD104 (I’ve never owned one) and a Workman something-or-other power mic (looks like one I had a long time ago that worked well).
And add to that...a bunch of mic cords and connectors to fix all the others I have laying around..hahaha.
So...7 mics and a bunch of parts. Lol.
