Can someone tell me if this black insulator for the radial plate is installed correctly or backwards? It looks like in the manual that the longer part should be facing the top of the antenna. Thanks.

Can someone tell me if this black insulator for the radial plate is installed correctly or backwards? It looks like in the manual that the longer part should be facing the top of the antenna. Thanks.the longer part goes up so the radial plates will sit on it,,,,
That’s what I thought but I found lots of pics online of new and original penetrators with the short side up
To me, you have it correct. Notice the larger flange is below support bracket. Alot of drawings are not to scale.
