Now Abott restricts travel from infected areas. Saw where road blocks where in place for check points in Florida. See that as overreach. If Texas had done it first it be called racist or discrimination.

Unfortunately, the latest knee jerk reaction is restricting people coming from Lousiana. If you read about it seems verbiage pretty broad. But does specify Louisiana residents broadband. But written to include those coming from infected areas, not to dismiss residents from other states that passed thru.

I still have Lousiana plates and DL, but have been back down this way for 4 years working, just getting back together after Harvey. Will I be subject to expulsion from discriminatory decree?

This CHINESE VIRUS is paralyzing, I do not think it was a freak of nature, I believe it was an act of a desperate communist nation to strike back at the world. Welcome to semi martial law folks, batton dwn the hatches, dive, dive, dive.

Infected folks running from their state restrictions and coming to infect my hood could wind up with a hot lead injection. Lots of no shit swampnecks around here . Best hope the state catches them at the border first I say.

I'm pretty damned sure Florida has alot wanting and trying to get out of that nazi state. It's a peninsula. Choke points already in place to take your temp and haul you off to the incinerator station. Good luck Tokin.....You're gonna need it.
 
Im good right here on my 20 acres. Im certainly not stuck in some hoa subdivision surrounded by neighbors who dont like me hahaha! Im not sure what state is worse, Washington state where I was or Florida. Either way ill survive. I ate out of too many dumpsters as a kid to worry about this shit.

Some opt for Texas & Florida as domicile as no income tax. Others choose states such as South Dakota due to other lower costs and better retiree expense situation.

ESCAPEES (Livingston, TX) is a private, owner-operated corporation that offers RV lots and services. Specializes for full-timers. Texas domicile.

I’m aware of some not yet retired who have their domicile status thru SKP. Contract work is their gig. Here, and there. Capital projects. Etc. (As some “retirees” aren’t quite retired; you’re retired IF YOU say you are. Etc).

There’s a limit on living somewhere (income), but domiciled in another state. 90-days in Texas (and many others).

SKP helps sort that out. Might apply to your situation. Not asking, am I. Fits mine well enough. I can move a state or three away (same employer) or change things up. While I’m not a member, (dues, rules, etc), I believe it worth the time.

I don’t like things around here, I can leave in about three hours. No lease, no bull. But SKP gives me a Livingston address for the expected letters, CDL, etc. (They forward).

Got enough documents to prove I've been here to get TX ID. But, office not open.

Not a single one of the super-sized cruise ships are registered in the U.S. They all bear registries and wave flags of mostly third world countries to avoid paying higher U.S. taxes. But now when the tables have turned and they're not making millions of dollars from each cruise, they come crying to the U.S. for help. I say no! Send them to their countries of registry. We need to take care of our own first.
