Source for LED light ring for controls (aka nitro knobs)

I just stumbled onto this thread and wondered the same. I have a couple of the stryker made starlight or whatever they call them. Had planned on putting them on a 29 but it never panned out. I'm willing to take some measurements if it helps anyone in finding a comparable substitute. I watched a video on mr x (not a fan of his noise builds but enjoy watching the work)building a radio and he actually put together the rings, soldering on the wires and all so they're available somewhere as he had a bag full of just rings. Now I'll have to look for that video too

I could not make it to the 30s mark. Watching video @ 3x speed is not for me. Why don't you send him an email and find his source?
I don't know the guy and don't know if he'd take it well, I only made mention of it because I'd remembered seeing them in his video and to say they're available in led rings alone from somewhere.

Found this on Aliexpress. I've had good luck dealing with AE. Good pricing. 10mm Led rings 500 pieces for 20 bucks. - 399
Good find 399. Maybe. Vague (??) description but does say it is a T10 type. Which would then fit into a T10 socket. Might be able to just run a wire to each blade contact. Mmmm.

I picked up a rig with chicken lights this week. I bought it for the the built-in recorder mostly, im not really into the lights but I have to admit it looks good. I can ask the seller for a lead to the tech who did the work. If I get an answer ill post it up.Screenshot_20200426-222328.png

Most of the ads on AE are vague, but if you want more pics and info send the seller an email. They always answer and are eager to please because they want the dinero!
The rings look like something I would like to play with, so I placed an order.
