All one really needs is coax, a PL-259, and a SWR meter - plus raw materials.
Having an antenna analyzer and knowing how to use it - is better still.
Homer BB proved that household items can be used and configured to make almost any antenna.

Because of the present situation, it makes it essential to learn how to build, repair, or modify your own antennas.

You are right, not sure what I did earlier. I may have to break the ole plastic out.

Well I looked again and the 203 has a minimum quantity of 20 to order 2 get the special 2fer price, but not the 203p.

Damnit , Still haven't found a way to post Amazombie links w/o the forum automatically treating them as "media" .

One of the most curious and useful materials I've found lately is copper tape.

The next is pet fence wire. Barring pet fence wire, if you search a bit (the amazombie search engine is one of the worst) 18 and 20ga wire is plentiful. We just put a near field listening antenna under the eaves of a friends house only to find out it loads up on 80/40/20 and at least listens on WARC + 11m

Curious that fiberglass materials are available as well as the resin. I'm considering a large stock of fiberglass "tube" at various diameters and making flagpoles, with the copper tape on the inside

There are all kinds of matching systems for 11m 1/4 , 1/2 , and .64 wave verticals. Likewise for the conventional and offset dipole.

Time to get into a junque box and built a "T" or "Pi-L" tuner.

Explore the difference between resonance and VSWR and build something that works.

I mean if you have a bit of time on your hands the low $$ experiments are there.

Build a Rocket-you won't be sorry.
