11 meter is very quiet?

Finally gave it a go on the AM skip tonight.

JD in Springfield (32AM)
799 "Hollywood" in NW IL (28AM)
Lady 111 in Michigan (21AM)

Would be trying LSB, but the 88HL and 148GTL-DX are being checked out and tuned up right now. Hoping to get them back soon, radio guy had health issues pop up, said he's starting to be caught up now.

Just talked to @Unit 75 Train Man on CH 20 with my President Madison and Texas Star 350. Always good to talk to him with his excellent audio. He was talking to one of our locals, 21 Delaware who is our member @Sparky313. He isn't on here much, but I will be sure to let him know who Train Man is.
Always a pleasure, my friend :)
I will be hanging on 20 today, as well. Hope we still have some conditions.
Trainman steppin, with my chin in the wind....CHOO CHOO....

.555 thus far today to my ears was a stateside chat frequency about doing burnouts with cars and then discussions about Hobart welders.

Over the past couple weeks I’ve noticed some 9 division operators asking 2 div folks to move local QSOs OFF of 555.

Though usually done politely, the typical response is, “yeah FU and your POS radio. What the F are you the D*** Canuck channel police? I’ll park my happy a** right here all F’ing day”...and the sort.

And then, over the following days you hear the same local QSOs with minor taunts about getting “yelled at”...blah, blah...

Best bet, leave them alone and work around them. Asking for etiquette seems to fail every time.
