Thinking about buying one if I can find a US supplier. Shipping from the UK is a killer.

There are more updated radios that are better than that older version clone. Anytone 6666 would be a suggestion or go with a name brand such as President Lincoln II+.

I already have the 6666 and the 9900. Just wanted something different. I also looked at the 6900N but see they are out of stock.

I don't think they are still making it.
The last ones came out under the Alinco name plate and were being sold off really cheaply quite a few years back.

Try a president Mckinley EU or a Grant II Premium if you can find one.
The AT-6666 is a better radio than the Cre 8900 hands down.
