This is a Sonar 40 channel conversion kit made by Beta-Switch Inc. The switch, circuit board dial plate and knob cost 69.50. You supplied the crystals. It took 5 crystals and basically worked like the one I built. The selector switch is the same as the 2340.....m
This post is compliments of Mark from FB's best Sonar page.
PS. I'm not sure if it'll work on the E, H, and G 8 channel Sonar's (I don't think so.).A bit of research should answer that question if you're interested. 73

It keeps the 23 channel appearance, but has 40 channels? That would be cool, I wonder if there are any pictures of one installed?
It's really odd that, sonar FB page. Everyone seems copesthetic. But when it comes to a request or question most replies are duplicitous. I'll ask the moderator, mark if he'll post a photo of it installed. I actually wanted or at least thought about asking him that very question. I'm also curious as to how it looks installed. Now that there's more than myself that wants to see it installed I will absolutely ask. By the way, Chris I think you're correct. It looks like the shaft protrudes through the 23 Channel sonar Factory Channel selector placement hole. I'm assuming the original one gets removed oh, and the one pictured replaces it. It only looks like there's few wires so installation is probably straightforward, and simple. Especially for you. I'm looking forward to the day I can send you equipment I'd rather give you repair money then a total stranger. Although I got to admit that person that I sent you his contact info does do really good work, and his prices are very fair Imo.
