I have recently purchased a Icom IC-R71A in very good condition. I added a Timewave DSP-59+.
I am finding it does not seem to really improve the reception of the IC-R71A.
Is that because the adjustable filters on the R71A are doing a good job and thus making the Timewave not able to improve the reception any better?
I mainly listen to 80 & 40 meters at night LSB and am located in Atlanta using a 60 foot DX-SWL sloper antenna.
