11 meter is very quiet?

I was in the Midland, Texas area heading east this morning and dx was coming in from Jamaica. I made a contact down there and then with South Florida. Then it shifted to the north and I made 5 or 6 contacts to New York, and New Jersey. Got talk to crazybob up there again!! It has been two or three years since I heard him so that was cool. And just like that it was gone.

I was taking a nap, but had my radio on in the background. Made some good contacts today. Talked to the Boston Strangler on 28AM LOL but my phone was dying. Wasn't able to get that one on here

Wait...your in San Antonio? I think I made contact with you on Wednesday!! Can’t remember your number cause it was mad crazy that day but I did make contact with San Antonio. Hell it was probably you!!!

No it was not me I was in West Texas then . There are quite a few operators in San Antonio. Many with some damn good sounding ham rigs. Might have been 426 in the first part of the video. Many of the hams around here also work dx and talk locally on cb.

Ah ok! Ya makes sense. That station sounded crystal clear! Like it was local. He was making contact with everyone! He was also trying for Hawaii but I lost him as conditions changed.
