Directional 11 meter for SSB to europe

HF Long John 10 meter Beams:

I think these models were adapted for 11 meters until the mid 70's, however demand was not great enough to sustain the production of those versions.
The newer 10 /12 meter versions use shorter boom lengths.
Several Op's I work on 6 meters have purchased the 5 element versions and updated them to the old specs.
The old design 6m/6 element version I believe had a 33 ft. (?)boom.
Those versions were called the "BOOMER" series.

I had a HGLJ-105CA for 10 Meters, but I was never able to get it up high, even to test.

About 25' is the best I could do with it mounted static, using an old Arm Strong Rotor.

It was heavy, well constructed, and barely reached 11 meters with a suitable working BW of 1.75 MHz when setup at the Broad Band dimensions.

They were for real alright. I don't think anybody does work like Hy-Gain use to do. Manual in PDF file below.

Below is the PDF file for my Eznec model using real dimensions I got from Hy-Gain to work 11 meters...including the physical beta matcher.

Anybody wishing to get one of these old beams contact:
