HR2510 prices ?

Does it work? If so, about $100.00 more than I would be willing to pay expecting a full re-cap, alignment and some un-obtanium parts replacements.

But then again, I am a cheap SOB!

They are solid radios, I like them but they are aging.
If you want one you have to factor in some maintenance on a radio this old.
As to what they are worth depends on who is buying and how much it tickle's there fancy.
I will say that I have seen the price of used CB radio's go off the scale lately on fleabay and places like F/B.
There was a President Lincoln few days ago for $350 + the ride.
I am cheap too, that's over my limit for a used radio that I need to clean up and recap to bring it up to reliable working order.
If some one wants one, just to have one, then they will pay whatever it takes to say they got one.

15 years ago I might have paid $175-200, these days I'd only pay $125-$150 just because they are getting old and so many of them have been abused.

If I found one new in the box I might go $200-$250 but they are old radios and for the same amount of money you can get a newer radio with more features and more output so it's hard to justify.

I have a HR2600 chipswitched and recapped I'd let go for $225.00 plus shipping. Has the mount bracket, mic, and thumbscrews, with manual in original box. I don't have a power cord for it, but I converted it to the standard 3 pin plug that the mobile CB radios use, so getting a power cord will be easy.

~Cheers~
Yeah ExitThirteen's is a hell of a deal! Years ago when I use to look for these / radio gear often, I don't recall being able to find just a Chipswitch by itself, just the chip, for under $200. I don't know if that is the going rate now when they pop up, but they weren't cheap.

Seller responded that Rondell Schuyler last worked on the radio, didn't provide any details at all, but said he's firm at $275. I chose not to reply.....
