Looking to get my pops something nice for Christmas. Would like a unit that has RF sensing. Thank you for looking.

I recently came across a Chinese copy for $50. I thought I saved it in my watchlist but ...

EDIT: Found it!

Man, work and life has kept me away for a little while. Thought I’d update this. I ended up buying one from a Ham in Ukraine of all places off eBay. It’s a pretty stellar unit. It feels kinda cheap(light and plastic). But I wanted a unit that has RF sensing for transmit and this one looks like it belongs on top of this old cobra. As you can see, the qrm has been reduced to almost zero. (Yes the radio is on in that photo!) I think it was 60 bucks. For my sensing antenna I ran a 18 foot coax out of my pops garage and hooked it to an old Francis Amazer we had laying around.

@Greyghost555

I just got one about week ago. It took 29 days to USA from Ukraine. I bought the white one which cost $74 plus tax shipped free. The black and brown cases are $75, and there is a silver case that is $78.

Neighbor installed solar panels, and it gets nasty on my receiver. Yes it works very good to eliminate the noise, and the RF sensing works very good too.

Solar panel S-Units of noise are different on cloudy and sunny days, and also the noise is higher on specific channels than others. Tried three different radios, and the noise was higher on the same channels.

I can go from can't hear anybody on LSB 38 AM, turn on the X-Phase, and then I can hear. It does attenuate the receive signal some on my setup with the X-Phase on, but I will take a clear copy over no copy any day.

Anyway, I have decided to just go flat side during the day with a beam antenna pointing away from my neighbor to the north. Solar panel noise is still there, but it's not near as bad on flat side dipole I am using now. Switch to my vertical Max 2000, and I can't hear anything but solar panel noise.
