Any one on the forum have hands-on experience with Megawatt power supplies ?? I watched the video comparing the "authentic" Megawatt with a Chinese clone, and aren't certain if this is an honest test. When he tests the clone, he sets it directly on top of a piece of equipment on his bench. Whether this equipment is connected to the radio under test is uncertain. However when he tests the Megawatt, he sets it on the bench far away from other equipment, and I'm wondering if this doesn't skew the test results.
So before I give any thought to buying one of these, I'd appreciate anybody who has used one to give me their opinion. Thanks & 73s.

i have 2 of them, the 36 amp and the newer 50 amp with the quieter fan, both work great, the 36 amp i had for 7+ years now,

I have used the 36 amp megawatt for about 3.5 years now with absolutely zero problems. I have ran a small two transistor amp, cobra radio, power for light on swr meter and a dsp filter all at the same time.

I’ve had one for years, has to be 7-8 years now. Been switched on and off 1000 times I bet, still works perfectly.

I have been running a 36 amp version since 2014. It's probably been running 24/7 about 90% of the time I have owned it. I have had to open it once to clean out and lube the fan.

I've tried out a couple different ones over the years and none of them made any noise that I noticed but I only bought switching ones that were recommended for ham radio. I feel like the manufactures of the brands hams buy regularly have got things figured out pretty well these days.

No birdies or RFI from the megawatts? Hard to tell when people say "no noise" if they are talking about loud fans or RF hash.

The fan makes noise for sure but it's nothing extreme. I can have it on the desk 2-3 feet away from my desk mike with the gain up fairly high and not pick it up, if I crank the gain yes you can hear the fan but at that point you can hear just about anything in the room.

The fan is quieter than some that I've had on radios or amps.

No RF hash I noticed.
