http://www.cqwpx.com/rules.htm

OBJECTIVE:
For amateurs worldwide to contact as many amateurs and prefixes as possible during the contest period.

EXCHANGE:
RS(T) report plus a progressive contact serial number starting with 001 for the first contact.

Prefix Multipliers:
The prefix multiplier is the number of valid prefixes worked. Each PREFIX is counted only once regardless of the band or number of times the same prefix is worked.

Any difference in the numbering, lettering, or order of same shall count as a separate prefix.

Fun Contest!!

I will be operating from W8PR this weekend.
We will be using "Special Pre-Fix"
WF8J.
I will be at the board from 10:00 PM EDST both Friday/into Saturday morning and again 10:00PM EDST Saturday/Sunday morning most Generally 40/80 meters.
I will "fill-in" at various other times "at the mic" or be working as a logger for other op's.

Daylight hours primary operation will most likely be 20/15 meters...maybe 10m late afternoon if conditions allow!

.Forecast...
Solar activity is expected to be very low, with a slight chance for a
C-class flare, on 26-28 Mar.

.Forecast...
Quiet to unsettled conditions are expected for the remainder of 26 Mar
becoming mostly quiet by 27 Mar. Late on 27 Mar to early on 28 Mar, a
CIR, in advance of another negative polarity CH HSS, is expected to
impact Earth. Conditions are expected to increase to unsettled to active
levels, with G1 (Minor) storm levels likely beginning on 28 Mar.:oops:

Have fun...Hope to put many "in the log" this weekend.

So far with POOR band conditions.
500+ contacts...329 pre-fixes worked
close to 400K+ points.
go back to board around noon today...15 meters has some life but limited to mostly South America from Ohio.
May give 10m a try...but cluster looks pretty DEAD
