Recently had to measure mine. A current model Icom 2300 is 5.5 inches wide. Most single band mobiles are about that size. Maybe 2" tall. 7 or 8 inches deep.

The Anytone is actually a little wider yet. The TM-V71A is 140mm wide vs. the AT-588 at 145mm wide. Your best bet is to go with one the remote head radios and install the radio under the seat or some open space location for better ventilation. In dash installs are usually not recommended because of the poor ventilation issue. Others in your situation are simply using an HT with an amplifier. Myself, I prefer a pedestal mount.

I remote mounted my TM-V71A and that was in my Tundra Crew Max cab. Can't imagine trying to put a radio in today's cars and keeping it clean and convenient.
