Vintage CB - Magazines; Ad's, articles, cartoons, etc.

I have saved many CB magazines from when I started in the hobby (late 70's) and would like to share in this thread. Others are welcome to do the same. Scanned image, PDF's, JPG's, links of original articles are show-cased here. Don't post complete magazines, just bits and pieces. Reference magazine and date of publication.

My first post is an ad for Royce CB. CB Magazine, Feb. 1977.

I wish I could find some more S9 mags out there. I particularly liked that one for some reason. Looking back with "older eyes" they seem like they had a little more technical edge than some others.... at least as much as could be handled by CBers at the time!

Great site (y) I've run across several other now that are using that .PDF page-turn service.

I'm still trying to find an ad I remember from Electronics Illustrated or Popular Electronics in the late 60s. It was for a correspondence school, probably NRI. Had a picture of Ed Dulaney from Iowa. Promoted him as a successful graduate of their course, and as president of D&A Manufacturing. The picture showed him leaning up against a line of Warrior amplifiers lined up, on their sides with no covers on them.

I didn't realize at the time he was also advertising his contraband linears. So far I have only found another ad for the same outfit showing Ed Dulaney next to his service van, with "Dulaney TV Service" painted on it.

I still remember that picture of him with the lined-up Warriors. Just didn't know what they were at the time.
