Heard Ch5 shop in W. Mempiss on the radio hundreds of times (along with cops trying to bust naive truck drivers by selling them crack over the radio) but never went in. Is it a hackshack?

I climbed out of the big truck for good last year, so I'm not looking. Just wondered what Ch5 shop was like. That lady spent a lot of time on the radio trying to sell us the latest and greatest splatter-box.

So you've been through there.........always gave me a chuckle.
Moved to a former utility contractor building a few years ago on IH-55 in W-Memphis not far from the scale; exit MLK for Petro/Loves, etc., and head E on WB service road towards river; 100’ tower.
Some retail offerings. Not much given space available and that woman knows next to nothing. You dropped dead in front of her, well . . if she noticed, she’d light another Tareyton and get back on the radio a few times before she HAD to do something.
Some guy does installs, clips limiters, etc, supposedly HE knows what is what you ask her (Ha!), and he’s usually out back setting up another clue-less driver.

If you've been to Bob's CB on I-80 in PA. A few exits west was the Interstate Body Shop. They advertised on Channel 19 with a pretty decent sized kicker. "Come to 25 for more info."
FWIW I've always heard good things about Bob, but never stopped there.
Great retail store. Will try to convince you about 18’ coax, but it’s all to the good past that little stuff.
Plan your trip you stop there first, then DX-E your second stop.
Anyone had any dealings with the CB Man. He has the Truckers Get More Range website? Says he moves from truck stop to truck stop.
