I use Kenwood KES-5 mobile speakers at the base. They sound great.
paid $5 at an estate sale. Best external speaker I’ve ever heard. Has to be from the 60’s?
Oh yeah. That one, a Mark 3, a S23 R27 and over a dozen other tubers in the collection.

Other things it may need, blown transformers suck! Lol) been talking on it every day for 2 years and it’s been flawless. I was happy to discover that both pieces had been re capped. Paid $425. Well worth it as the prices have gone up in two years.
