This is one of the beauts I got from forum member H1driver and man what a piece of history it is! Single sided pcb with that big switch, it's just a bad ass microphone. Something about these old American engineered and built with American hands pieces really bring out the kid in me. It's like watching an episode of superman or batman and robin when I was a youngster. It can't be nostalgia because I never owned nor ever knew anything about this stuff in my little tike days.

Back to the subject, that front decal gives a clue that it must be a very early model of the such.

I know these evolved and logos changed like underwear so there must be several different generations.

My question is, can you guys help me out as to the age of this guy?

Some cleaning and lube and she works like a dream in case you might be wondering.

Be carfull putting the screws back in. Those holes love to strip real easy as that plastic ages. Just snug them.
I will definitely keep that in mind, appreciate the advice.
I saw a 1977 catalog that showed the 1104C with that logo. Not too sure how long it had been used by then, or how long they used it though.

That's kind of the the slot I was thinking, not any particular reason it was just my guess. That's pretty cool to own an astatic from that time.
