What is the biggest size CB beam antenna that can go on a mast, i know a 3 element will work but what about a 4 or 5, even or even maybe a 6 that was guyed good, wo what do you guys think, the reason i'm asking is that i don't have a lot of room for 2 antennas, i was thinking of putting a vertical of somekind above it.
I know this was probably talked aboit before but don't know where
Thank you

2 element is the biggest i would put on a pole. I wouldn't go any bigger than that. Maybe 3 if your a gambling man. 4 element or bigger, You would have to guy the pole so much to keep it from Folding that its not practical. And then a vertical on top of that? Sorry man but it ain't gonna happen. There is a reason people have towers for big antennas

2 element wire Quads or Moxon rectangles can be brewed up to be fairly lightweight.

Well struggling with a 22 pound 13.5 foot boom VQ3 on a pole atm wouldn't recommend that heavy and awkward for a pole in retrospect.
And probably when I DO get it up and installed the chinesium RCA rotor will snap off and send the thing through my roof.
