Always 73's as this adds a errant value to the guys who get wrapped around the axel over small things like this. Also a few Ten Codes are a help, and ending a conversation saying "I am back out" is also a help.

But the all time classic is using a echo mike on the local 2 meter repeater, wow what great results. I sure there are other things that get em all stirred up, but you have save a little for further errants.

Some of the newer guys started our own radio club way back then put up our own 2 meter machine with a CAT controller.
It was one of the first around that could talk for it's self.
Old ge forestry service radio with a 100 watt pa.
We often got comments about the interesting courtesy tones and long id messages lol
That was back when 2 meters was fun.
