I had a QSO with Two Five Zero Victoria, British Columbia. He said he was 150 miles north of the "North West Corner". Then I heard Witch Doctor in Trinidad. Now I hear Sacramento followed by Puerto Rico. Definitely uncommon conditions, the band is open everywhere.

Solid noise tonight on AM and SSB. All of it from Mexico. Just tons of radios all transmitting at the same time and every one of them has a noise maker. 
Heard a little on 38LSB this afternoon but never made a solid contact. Had one guy come back but couldn't pull his numbers out. Kinda depressing, 1st voices I've heard in weeks (other than the ones in my head) and couldn't do anything with it.

Didn't have much radio time yesterday but did manage to make four contacts on 27.375 & 27.385 to California.

Well finally made good contact.... 002 Scotland and a couple of folks from the extended warranty country.

A South African station was able to pull me out, and then I couldn't get back to him.

In the crazy skip this week all I heard was a couple of big power guys, I think in the southern states, bickering. Both sounded almost like preachers of their own CB churches.
Still nothing but Truckers working on the local comms,,,, hasn't stopped me from buying more radio stuff. I can talk to myself IN STYLE now....

Around the same time, a big Italian station was booming in on ch 40 lsb. He had the meter on my Stryker 955 pegged at over 60 over. Great audio too. Definitely great conditions.
First contact with Hawai’i on ch6 yesterday!!!! Next QSO I want is New Zealand/Australia.
Today was Florida, Georgia and Alabama. Go figure

In the middle of trying to QSY with South Africa, my wife was calling me on the GMRS Midland 115 I use as a base unit. I had to ask her to please stand by..... And she did!! Haha it doesn't get any better than that!!
I made a few Jamaica contacts today, also a contact with somebody in the 172 division, New Caledonia( I think) I had to look that one up.
It was a rough contacts plus the language barrier didn't help. That was on 27.560 USB.
I also made about four or 5 contacts to Australia this evening as well.
Heck, I even talked to 55 in Alabama!! That was my only stateside contact

The bowl was active with gibberish for a short while today, lsb was faint early in the day but not anything to work with. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
