Didn’t know that. Makes sense why there is no specific adjustment pot for LSB.
Believe me I looked thru that service manual also and didn't notice any specific LSB adjustment pot either. This site didn't post my whole reply !
I thought the same thing as you, Just make sure you get your clarifier set in the dead stop center on both fine and coarse. Right now I can't understand anybody unless my coarse is at 11:15- 11:30 o clock.
A second radio that you know is dead nuts on would be a good help to you right now. Could help you zero it in.

Luckily my RX is pretty spot on. If do have to find a station in, it’s just a small twist of the fine knob. Never have to touch the course clarifier.
Right! I was going to have a buddy who’s a local help me with his Icom Ham rig but still need to know which pot to turn.
L306 . Let radio warm up for 15 min then zero beat it to his icom with a whistle
So I'd shoot for the am and lsb tx and with your buddies radio to aid then you can go wrong.

I would zero the whistle or a 1khz tone off youtube listening for the flutter to go solid. Zero beat. Then of course listen to your voice. Poor man's way but will absolutely work.
Ah so it’s L306. So that pot adjusts AM and SSB for TX. I didn’t know that it adjusted both.
I have a tone app on my phone so getting a 1K tone should be good! Definitely see how it sounds with a voice. Yup a poor man’s way of doing it but as long as it improves the way I sound it’s all good!!
