As long as the X be 4 or less ( SWR can be around 1.4 ) antenna is resonant. That means the ohms is not around 50. Sometimes achieving a 50 ohms and X less than 4 is not possible for a number of reasons.
I had one and it is not an “ easy to deal”antenna. It is looooong and picky when trying to tune it. I had it 15 feet above a rebar reinforced concrete roof. Had the coax cable attached to a galvanized pipe with zip ties. I had no less than 2.0 SWR. I played with the game and the bone with no...
Anyway, I e-mailed X-Force and requested if the sell the voltage remote control for this motor maul. I hope they reply to my e-mail.
By the way 9C1Driver, I also contacted DaveMade. I am waiting for their response.
Yes it is.
I can manufacture it, but I need to know if there is anything else needed inside the remote (besides the voltmeter and the potentiometer). I need the potentiometer value in ohms which I believe should be the same as the potentiometer at the front.
Is there anywhere I can find that...
Hi. I bought a used 200 amps X-Force Motor MaulIt came without the remote. This motor maul has a 1/4” female connector on the back for the remote to control voltage remotely
I am looking for a wired remote control unit with an integrated volt meter. Does anyone know where to buy it? .
Remember, by that time, 11 meter Ringo Ranger was available as well as the 10 meter version. If there is any difference between these two antennas, I honestly don't know because I've never had either of them.
Short answer, no it is not a perfect match. Like @hotrod said: try to keep my reactance or X as low as possible ( below 4 ),even if it slightly raises swr and they to get impedance or R as close to 50 ohms as possible.
Something was wrong with the board and a technician did that modification to the board to make it work. It only lasted a few days. Indeed, I think is one of those relays. For me, the relays’ plastic cover look overheated. The technician told it was probably an electrical discharge or over voltage
Hi. I am looking for a good Icom 7410 CTRL board. It controls both antenna inputs and the AT. See the picture. It says B- 7158G CTRL.
Maybe another Icom HF transceiver use it but I haven’t had luck finding one. Thanks in advance for the help you may provide.
