I hang out on 17 meters alot ...I hear many,I mean many folks running the hex beam, they all really like the antenna,and can get it for any bands or combo of bands from 20 to 6 meters from what I understand...I could be wrong on the band coverage though...please correct if wrong

band openings will slowly start to weaken or be open less than they are now ,bands that would have weak openings will close down all together...
Enjoy the openings while you can,things will soon be quiet on the upper HF bands
Most of the time 10 meters is dead quiet most all the time,when it is open I hear our little brown buddies from south of the border
I hold a general class ticket,I am game for any band 80 meters and up
no antenna for 160

MFJ has a good study book that I used to help me study for the general test,and I also done the online practice tests,didnt take me to long and I was ready for the tests....

heard Kuait on 18.125 as well very strong...but those guys are gone now...the pileups they has sounded like a buzzsaw on crack ...was no way my little peanut whistle station was getting through
