A radio friend gave me a Yaesu FTM-3100 and helped me put up a Diamond X50A antenna. Few weeks later I replaced the skinny coax with RG213. Works good enough for me.

Awesome day thus far in NC for Stateside Skip. So many QSO's into so many states on 27.375 LSB. Very long QSO with forum member & friend "FarmerBrown" and "Muzzleloader" in Arkansas. Farmer Brown was blasting his way into NC...like talking on the telephone but better!
