Yeah I love mine and the extra channels added similar to how the Galaxy 979 is done yielded a bit more frequencys, so a plus there too.
I'm fortunate to have bought it from Amazon when they still had them for $159 so it's a keeper to me!
Essentially what you are getting is a like new one and a very used one for possible parts or whatever.
The like new one works beautifully!
These are of course being sold as is was no warranty whatsoever. As a bonus though you'll get the factory service manual in its entirety.
Okay this is interesting but can someone educate me some on how to use it with a CB radio? Found it on eBay. Don't understand how to make this mic setup key up or how it would be used say in a typical 4pin Cobra mic situation?
Yeah I don't know what is in the Saturn base in terms of the exact same board with a few different features. I'm also trying to track down a crystal filter for this base which is 10.695mhz and attaches to the PCB with 6pins soldered in. USB is a bit shrill sounding.
But I've had mine...
Sure is looking more and more like Motorola may not have designed these well in the TX section... I'm experiencing more of this now myself. After having my base recapped and aligned by Mike's Radio Repair some years back and had DDS installed, thinking it was gonna be an excellent combination...
