I'm trying to check the Bias on the driver and final on my DX949.
I have the service manual from CB Tricks.
Set radio to CH 20
USB TX mode.
Connect current meter to TP7(+) and TP9(-)

Connect current meter to TP7(+) and TP8(-)
If the CB is aligned properly it is very simple too use. Most new export radios come with this option already built in. It is the radio operators choice to use or not.
All my radios have the opened clarifier option and I have never been told I'm quote on quote off frequency. It's totally...
I have a RF sampler that I use to send my modulation information to my ocilliscope. It is connected to my Bird 43 input. The Bird 43 output has a 50 ohm dummy load connected.
The RF sampler has a BNC output. I use a 50 ohm BNC cable connected to the RF sampler and the other side connected to the...

Or is it just salesmen tactic?
I have had 2 Ranger 2995DXCF's blow out there Mosfets in the amplifier section.
Ranger fixed them both times under warranty.
I believe this radio cannot handle anything more than a 2.0 SWR.

First time I made the mistake...
I found a company. The Antenna Farm stocks these items.
Is any whip triming required for CB usage if I were to buy the NMO 30 and the 64 inch whip with a spring?
How about the same without a spring?
I have a Chevy Impala car that has roof through NMO installed.
I have one of these. It has high impedance. Should match up to what the radio requires. Going to try it with my AT6666.
