You could easily fix that
Yes as I used to have stack 17 element CushCraft 17b2 on VHF. That was worth the effort but not the cost. I did have them at 100' though.
Agreed, it's not worth the effort. As CK said a larger antenna would be a better option.
My personal preference would be the Washinton because I think it looks better.
I could be wrong but I think there are both the same board.
Or get the 10-DA head
If you are running mostly AM then its a good match if you're a Sidebander then not so great. I know a lot of people will say the 104 sounds good...
$500? There is so much better you can buy than this crap
Build a dipole, it will take 30min and cost less than $40
Well without buyers there is no eBay.. so
I agree the stock mic sounded pretty good. The 575 sounded the best with stock being second.
Cb'ers do like their bling...
shame it spent its life on 11 meters.
So do I, here is here in May I believe.
Its cute but that display is useless for my eyes.
When I ran HF mobile I used this - [IMG]
Yes I am getting it as well
I agree, my 706 sounded ok on am the one time I tried.
If your intention is to run am then get an older Cobra 29. Haha HF rigs are designed for SSB and not great on AM
