RE: SeaTTY - Just make sure you tune to the -1.9kHz carrier frequency (for 9110 your radio would tune to 9108.1 USB), and use the HF-FAX mode - that way incoming images will start automatically once Tx starts.
These are in fact "re-transmissions of some NOAA data" by the Coast Guard...
Very good conditions recently for Rx the NOAA HF transmissions, especially on 33m (9110 kHz). Some of the maps in the last few weeks are the best I've ever received.
For those interested in giving it a try - here is the transmitter schedule. I find (here in New Hampshire) Boston the best, then...
My only suggestion for a 2m dipole would be to polarize it vertically. Most 2m signals (around here anyway) are vertically polarized (repeaters, verticals, whips, etc.).
I had a big 2M Yagi at one time - installed it horizontal, couldn't hear a freakin' thing. Switched to vertical and bingo -...
For anyone interested in antenna/propagation testing - I've put up a 10m CW beacon on 28.290, 10W, on a 10m dipole-oriented N-S.
Any s/n reports will get a special B-card. Record Rx so far is HA5PP (JN97mm - Budapest, Hungary) @ 4180 miles 12dB s/n.
You can also track Rx on Reverse Beacon...
A Hafler P3000 300W audio amplifier modified for use on the amateur 2200m band (136 kHz) using WD2XES's modification (see https://hamsignal.com/blog/preparing-for-winter-an-lf-mf-hf-make-over-and-136-khz-improvements).
80m is always tricky with a 160m dipole - but it's not impossible. The "all-band" antenna I use the most (SSB & digital at near FLL) is a 160m dipole.
Disclaimer: I am a fan of 600-Ohm 'ladder line'.
I would suggest looking into the merits of replacing your coax with 600-Ohm feedline. There...
MFJ-901B Antenna Tuner, 200W, w/balun - good condition & fully functional. (top unit in photo)
Will tune balanced feedlines (including 600 ohm open wire).
I've had it about 4 years. Information and manual here. $100 shipped to US.
Any questions let me know.

User Review of the Yaesu All Mode FT-991(A) (original review of 3 Feb 2016 & update)
I needed a reasonably reliable base radio for 2.0 and 0.7 meters, something that could get me mobile UHF/VHF/HF in the event I ever needed it, and something that hopefully could utilize my preferred dynamic or...
Very cool project - thank you for sharing your data.
At a recent field day, we set up a remote 160m inverted L (top-loaded Marconi) - 35' vert and 125' horizontal (strung up in the trees with insulators and paracord) and it performed surprisingly well. At 100W SSB at the transmitter (TRP was...
There are a LOT of options for sure !
The best (multi band) HF antenna I've had is a basic inverted V, cut to λ/2 (λ = lowest frequency of interest) with a 600 ohm feedline cut to λ/4. The feedline (if you do not have a balanced-line tuner) is brought into the shack to a 1:1 current balun close...
The "Friday routine":
Stopped by the range on my way home - 18 shots into a paper plate.
S&W 629PC (2.5" snub) .44 mag loaded down to ~1000fps, 30', strong hand.
All 18 "on the plate" - good enough for military work.
Necessity is always the mother of invention (and marketing).
I believe the 757 series had the standard Yaesu 8-pin circular, so you could try one of these: (Yaesu ABB19X001 Power Supply Kit) Little pricy, but I'm pretty sure it would work.
Spec sheet attached. Good luck !
