    Solar panels

I recently moved into a new construction house and I am considering having solar panels installed. I am wondering if there is anything that I need to be concerned about with regards to interference either from the inverters on the panels, or from my transmitted signal to the panels/inverters? I...

Aftermarket bird peak kit cap for switches and LED

I ran across this while perusing Ebay last week and it was exactly what I needed. The 1x/2x/5x peak kits are popular for a couple of reasons...they only require 1 9v battery compared to the Bird peak kits 2, and they have the multiplier that comes in really handy and cuts down on the number of...

29 LTD Classic RF gain issue

The meter on receive will stay on S9 even on my dummy load with the RF gain turned down. The RF gain will drop the incoming noise level, but the meter doesn't move. Stripping 1989 148GTL

I got my hands on a 148 chassis that is for all intents and purposes junk, but has good parts on it. I just pulled the Mitsubishi 2166 driver and 1969 final and they both test good with HFE values of 45 and 32 respectively. Is it worth selling these? Thanks, Randy

Old style Galaxy frequency counter module flashing issue

I have a spare module that works, and stays stable after it warms up, but flashes as it does so. I replaced the electrolytic caps thinking that might be the issue, but that did nothing. I checked the regulator and it outputs 8.04 volts with 11.5 to 14.9 volts input. I'm looking for a direction...

1st gen President Jackson (black face)

This is my President Jackson. I'll post a video of it so you can get a good look at it. I'm looking for $225 + the ride from 95111. This is for the radio only, I don't have anything to go with it.
