The meter on receive will stay on S9 even on my dummy load with the RF gain turned down. The RF gain will drop the incoming noise level, but the meter doesn't move. I got my hands on a 148 chassis that is for all intents and purposes junk, but has good parts on it. I just pulled the Mitsubishi 2166 driver and 1969 final and they both test good with HFE values of 45 and 32 respectively. Is it worth selling these? Thanks, Randy
