    This man speaks the truth, when I can afford it this is the route I will take. The nice thing about LiFe batteries is you can discharge them MUCH further than you can a standard lead acid, at least I think that's correct.

    Battery Applications - Universal Power Group Find one that fits your needs, go to amazon and punch in the #. I purchased a ub12120 for hilltopping. Works great. If I had the money though, I'd go with a life battery (and new charger) like the one posted above.

    Ditto. Mines sitting on top of a breedlove ballmount with rg213 feeding it. It does very well.

    It'll work just fine for the money, don't over think things, its just a mag mount antenna. Apples/oranges If your looking for performance, put a 102" on it, on a breedlove mount.

    Simichrome polish ftw! I traded a mobile install and some coax and ends for these! Sweet deal I must say. Now all I have to do is pull the wrap off the one, polish the coils, and find some whips. Also, will the single coil whips from predator fit these? I need to order some up.

    Make a photobucket account, upload pics, then go to library. Hover over the pic you want to post, a settings thingy will pop up in the upper right corner, hit share, copy the bottom link, Img for forum board, come here, hit control V to paste, it will be a long link but will work.
