Late 80s to early 90s I skated everyday. I'm in my 40s now and bought a board last year. I hit the local skatepark once or twice a week. I do less high impact tricks but skating the bowl and doing lip tricks on the ramps is a blast. Occasionally reality will rear it's ugly head and remind me...
You obviously haven't been paying attention to what's going on in the good ole US of A. People are losing way more than a radio, with no trial, no proof of wrongdoing, and no recourse. Google asset forfeiture, and see how it's being misused.
Read some firsthand accounts, it's an eye opener...
Just started calling on .415LSB. Gonna give it 10 minutes and put the kid to bed. It was worth a try. Next week I'll get on during the daytime before MX rolls in so loudly.
I don't know how the wiring on that radio is, but they do make mic extension cables. As much as I hate Copper Electronics, I saw some on there last week. Check mic accessories or Google for other retailers.

Google was no help. Thinking one of the techs here might know how to determine. I know my Yaesu has a formula to read year of manufacture by looking at the serial.
I picked one of these up for $25 at a yard sale this morning. Owner said he hasn't used it in 10 years, never had cover off. He couldn't remember when exactly he bought it. Is there any way to determine the actual manufacturing date or year by the serial number? It is a front mic model...
Works fine here. I'm using Dolphin browser on Android. After the page loaded, it prompted me to open with my media player (I use DicePlayer).
If conditions are running N/S tomorrow, I'll see if I can reach you from GA.
He's had those listed on eBay since last year. I came across them while browsing, at least back to August. I've also seen a used 25 or a 29 (non lx) listed by him.
I was seriously considering one, but I rarely use am, and would rather save the money.
Most of the locals around Savannah and the outlying areas are older guys. I don't listen much, but when I tune to the local AM channel, there are 5-8 locals that talk from 8-9:30pm almost every night.
I have no desire to talk with them. They're probably good people overall, but most of their...
Would running dual inverters make my luminance higher?
What about running that light bulb in a truck that's got dual antennas, talking to a base inside of a highway perimeter that's 10 wavelengths away, on a couldy day, and is it north or south of the Mason Dixon Line?
My uncle thinks two of...
Any update on this? Did it get lowered to a reasonable level?
It's really great that you got a response from the company. Working around factories for a good bit of time, I always noticed that most tech/engineering people genuinely want to help with issues. Getting in touch with the right...
I'm just guessing here, but that response seems like it came from an engineer that works there. If they had no intention of investigating your complaint, it would probably be ignored or denied (ie: not our stuff).
camaro1, waiting does seem a decent course of action. I would give it a week...
I made a few contacts last night also. I'm in Georgia, and it was wide open into NY. I just woke up at 7am Eastern, and it was still open into New York and Ontario. Wonder if it stayed that way all night?
