Another nubie question.
I recently traded for a small tube amp that does about 75 watts. The guy I got it from said I could use it as is, or use it to push another amp. That surprised me. Are there general rules for this? What type of amplifier would accept 75 watts without blowing up?
When I screw the coax into the back, all the way...I hear nothing. When I back it off so just the pin is in, without tightening, I can hear the world. I thought it was bad coax so I bought new stuff.

There is a large stud on the back that says GROUND. I found some directions for this linear and it says: "connect a good outside ground to stud on rear of unit". We never did this back in the day so I'm a bit surprised. Can someone explain how to ground this amp? I guess they want a wire from...
