    My Old K40 rides again !

    Many years ago I ran a Texas star 500 through a k40 antenna. When I walked out of my car I noticed smoke coming out of the k40 coil. Replaced it with a Wilson 1000. Currently I use a Sirio 5000. Nice antenna.

    I had the factory plastic on my 7300 for over a year. :giggle: Bought a screen protector for it and the dx10. Nice and clear and easy to clean without scratching the screens.

    No experience with the FT-710 but I do own an IC-7300 and FT-DX10. The ergonomics on the 7300 are far superior to DX10.     Lets logically end the LMR-400 debate.

    No issues with my Times Microwave LMR400. I have one run to an old Imax 2000 and another to Diamond D-130 discone. The one on the Imax is about 15 years old. Still working great.
