i just got a used 2980wx everything seems to work but all i get is static when in WX mode. also, I can see the little green RX light pulsing from dim to bright. Other than that, everything on the radio is working as it should. Does anyone have any ideas what can be causing this? i saw a post...

need a little help. i run a silver eagle 200 amp with no issues at all, swr are great on and off, on the external meter and in the radio. i put my friends Marko 100f in line and while ON the radio shows high swr over 5! the meter shows 1.3 when the amp is OFF the radio meter shows 1.2 so does...

all of a sudden my silver eagle amp isn't receiving. i checked the small relay and it seems if you pull up on the contacts it will receive but in its " resting " state i get no receive. if i hold up on the contacts and key it will draw down and make power. almost like the relay is working...
