This one has me stumped. Never seen one before. And what is that little doohickey sticking out of the top of the case? Looks like maybe an attachment point for a whip antenna? Anyway for the price I couldn’t pass it up for the collection.
I’ve never seen another such copperish colored element. This is in the head of a NOS in the box, non amplified G stand I bought. Anyone else ever seen one?

Both mint. Radio works great. Loud clear audio with just the pot turned up. No hacking this baby, been looking for a mint one for years. Receive is amazing. AGC on/off function is awesome, very browning like. Really pulls in weak stations out in the weeds.

Got a NOS Sonar BR20 business band radio here. Operates 25-50 MHz and 14 watts output.
Can’t find any info on the mixing scheme for this radio. Trying to find out what frequency crystals it would need to work on channel 30.
