Well, the Sirio Tornado bit the dust. Not impressed with the quality. In a 30mph wind it snapped at the base. It did perform well up to that point. The trusty Imax 2k will go back up.

I have a nib mag mount. Never installed. Bought it then realized I can't use it on my f150. I'll take $35 + the ride. I'll get some pix up later today.

I'm thinking about replacing the Imax 2k with the sirio tornado. I know some members have it and want an opinion how they like it how it holds up under extreme conditions. I live in the Midwest and it can get windy, not much snow but some ice and rain. All opinions will be appreciated.

I have 1 uniden hand mic and 1 cobra hand mic in excellent condition. Both 4 pin. I'll take $35 for the uniden and $45 for the cobra. + The ride.

My step son works for Ford dealership and they got a truck in on trade and these were in it. No radio tho. I have no use for them so will put them up for sale.

The boy wanted his truck back so had to uninstall the radio and antenna and install in the f150. What a pain! Didn't have the correct mount for the sirio so had to do a temp antenna till the new mount arrives later this week.

I'm looking to purchase a new base antenna. The Imax took a dump. I was researching the Sirio Tornado. Anyone have one and how do you like it? Any issue in high winds? I've seen pics of them breaking below the coil. Is this a problem or manufacture defect? Any all comments welcome.

My imax has issues at Least I think it does. When I installed it last fall I had good swr. 1.2 across the legal 40. Retuned the rings for 27.555.0 and had a 1.1 on 555 and 1.2 on 385. Now, however I have a 4+ swr no matter what frequency I'm on. Haven't had time to take antenna down or check the...

Well, it's almost done. Carpet laid, most of the paint is done and the tv hung. Rerouted the coax and rotor cable. As soon as I get the the cabinet back together I'll be back on the air.
