I don't like that there's no RF gain and (you're correct) the frequency layout how especially when you scan or go up and down in channels or frequencies it doesn't go on the .5's it goes on the even 0's which I understand is common in ham use not 11 meter use, and that GOD AWFUL BEEP EVERY TIME...
