Formac 700 issue

So just got this radio in today, got it powered up but went to check swr and something strange happened. When keying the mic the RX gets louder (clear as well) but no transmit, when not keyed it gets really quiet. Don't know the wiring due to not having schematic so couldn't tell for sure if...

Just bought Formac 700. . .

Does anyone out there have any information on the Formac 700 multiband mobile radio? Just bought one on ebay for a good price but finding info on it is nearly impossible.
