I have a friend I am trying to help out with an antenna situation they have. They currently reside in what I consider a horrible radio situation - it is a three floor building and their unit is in the middle. They cannot mount a normal exterior antenna (no deck, no gutter, cannot use roof, etc)...

Having a strange issue with my amp but only had one set of spare fuses so while I wait on more to come in the mail I am hoping on some insight on where to start troubleshooting the fuse blowing problem.

Just installed one of these two element V-quad antennas and having great results in the V (full horizontal) setup however it does indicate dual polarity and that if the antenna goes into a L position it will do both horizontal and vertical at the same time.
I have not tested this position yet...
What the heck are these 'bolts'? I was thinking it's a small allen or star pattern of some size but either I am wrong or I just don't have the right one to fit these to pop them loose. Ideas?
Just curious how (or even if) anyone has tested their ground from the amp/radio to the ground rod to ensure the ground is good. I see plenty of info checking grounds on electrical connections but not much on taking a wire from the back of the equipment right to that ground rod and testing to...
