When replacing mosfet finals, should they be tested and matched, or can you just slap a couple in. Just curious.

    Anytone microphone strain relief

Not liking the mic plugs on my Q5n and Q5n2, I use small cable clamps to keep from yanking them around.

    Opening the RM Italy cases?

I've been searching all over the net, and here, to find out how to open these ding-danged RM cases. All kinds of videos on mods and repairing these things, but none of them show how to slide open the darned things. If it matters I have a 203p and a 300p.

    Vertical coaxial antenna build.

I'm building an antenna I can hide in an approximately 40' tall Blue spruce tree. The intent is to snake 40' of 1/2" CPVC pipe up the trunk, with the coaxial antenna inside it. These trees aren't made for climbing since they have hundreds of dead sticks inside, so tossing a rope over a branch...

    New to the forum

...but not to life or CB radio. Long time resident of the village of Hartland, Michigan. I was a big-time CB operator back in the 70-80s. Siltronix 1011-D feeding a 1.2kw barn burner linear, into a 5 el. Long John Yagi. Oh, those were the days. Almost got me divorced. I've still got my QSL...
