    Echo?

Tell me about it, I can really appricaite(sp?) good clean audio and again that is why I use a Heil HC-5 un-amplified, I get alot of great reports from other stations by doing this. I believe that all the noise toys an echos and rb's just clutter up the airways with meaningless trash due to the...

    Echo?

Well I have a couple of D104's but the mic I use the most is my Heil Goldline it is non-amplified. My Kenwoods do not require amplification and these mics Kick Butt super clear!. As far as echo or rb I have both on my 959 but they tend to bug me so I dont use them. Oh well my two cents~ Jerry

    Interceptor I-10k

I ran a #4 copper wire from the antenna mount to the grounding rod so I know the antenna is grounded. I would think that if you use a pushup mast that grounding it at the bottom would be be as good due to the joints. Jerry

    Good cheap base antennae

IMHO The antenna is the last place I would go cheap on if you want to talk to anyone. I run a Imax 2000, I have paid about $120 for the Imaxx Coax, I got the mast for free. I have talked from the west coast to the east coast many times barefoot. Jerry
