11 meter is very quiet?

ended up taking my 85 yr Dad to the hospital due to numbness in the leg,was up there for at least 5 hours, turns out he has Lyme disease, got him on med's and had a late thanksgiving dinner tonight, going to try to get on the air tonight if conditions are still holding, hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving
You sound like a good responsible son and your dad is lucky to have you around. Getting old is no fun.

Well that is what makes a family unit function when the chips are down. I was never lucky enough to have a son or sons. But I was lucky enough to have 2 daughters but hoping when my time comes it is quick because they have their hands full with their own families. Time to get back to radio, guess I'll go to the room and check out the extra channels and FM. Good Luck

Guys feel lucky you had a dad. I was raised by a step dad which did the best he could but it is never the same. I always knew I was a outsider. But it prepared me for a tough world. LOL

Good conditions this morning, but not so good that I hear 59 stations at once. Currently I'm listening on 35 through 40 and again, it's not too jamed up. I'll be on occasionally throughout the day and if I have time to sit for a while, I'll post the frequency.

Nice,I'm currently cooking French fries and getting the line setup at Five Guys at the moment,No Radio time, LoL have a great day today!!

I didn't get much radio time in today, not like I was expecting. It looks like I'll definitely have more time tomorrow and will find a quiet place to sit and when I do I'll post and hopefully get to make contact with one of you fellas. I did notice today that 35 through 40 isn't safe anymore from the idiots and there toys.
I also called out this morning on lsb 16 a few different times with no results... Meh..... might need to rethink..

Of the sideband channels, 38 is for sure the worst of the worst, being home to the multiple 111111 guys and all; and I find 36 is most likely to be idiot-free.

Second worst sideband channel for BS is 27.425 LSB, two channels above 40, which is the home channel of at least two infamous contemporary CB troublemakers, and which seems to have an argument in progress, people insulting each other, or just general mayhem every single time I pass by.
It's a shame because several years back that frequency had a great crew of operators on it. An amazing example of how just a few idiots can ruin it for so many.

I'm planning on being on the air after work this afternoon and off and on throughout the day on Sunday on 37 and 16 LSB, hopefully conditions will cooperate to be able to make some contacts with fellow WDX members out there this weekend, gotta go get ready for Work, hope everyone has good DX on 16 today and tomorrow, have a great day ahead!!

Good day, I have an Icom IC910H radio. I want to program a memory with split frequency tone on TX only and NO tone on RX,. Is this possible to do from the face of the radio? I don't have the interface to connect to a computer.

@Deon very unlikely to get a response here. You are better off starting a thread on the topic.
