13.8 with the alinco and it works great. The best upgrade for that radio is using the workman heavy duty or any heavy duty power cord to feed it plenty of current. Up until I went off the air the radio did well at 13.8 to 14.2.

is there docs on the service menu? my tech wants it for when he aligns it and fixes my modulation.
i thought i saw it somewhere in the thread, but i can't find it.

There are 2 menus.
Long press MENU, setting 01, and set it to 36.

For the MAIN Boot-up Service Menu, Press MENU and MODE while turning the radio on. Then press the other 6 buttons from DW to EMG. I posted the service menu w/my factory settings and a blank one for your use. Write down the numbers before anything is changed. There is no RESET for this menu.

Thanks 399 (y) I have actually had a quick look at this - the settings are roughly the same. When Magnuman and I were playing around with this, we half expected to see a big difference in the service menu settings between my radio and his, but the settings were basically the same. I'm thinking...
