Hello!

I would like to try an amplified dynamic microphone with the Q6PRO radio. My question is, how can I connect the PTT wire directly to Gnd? Or do you need resistance?

pin 3 wire> PTT switch> pin 5 (ground/shield). No resistance.

I put the 6Pro in my truck in place of the 86v with RFX95. The noise reduction feature is super nice on the receiver and the radio is narrow enough to not interfere with the sun visors. I believe this is still the smallest mobile with SSB.

This method no longer works. It was removed by the factory on all new versions because of the mistakes being made by people without the knowledge or the test equipment needed.
To reduce these user issues, and still give the PRO market what they need, AnyTone have released a PC Alignment Tool to allow a safer and better way to perform alignment on these radios.

That's why the software tool was created. It's a barrier to entry that will stop most basic users from even attempting adjustments, (the same ones who made the keypad service menu mistakes in the past) but for those PRO users that need it, the PC tool is the keys to the castle.
IMO it's awesome that QX understand this, and are giving us this option.

What controls do you not like the position of?

on left side my big fingers get tangled up. plus channel skipping when tuning on right. been hearing several radios are sharing the skipping. switches might be from another builder with lax qc
