Browning Brownie mobile 23 channel

I have a really clean old school Browning brownie 23 channel mobile radio for a good home. It's a nice little radio and works like it's supposed to but I'm clearing out unnecessary gear.

Comes with original bracket, and microphone. I'll add pictures shortly.

I hooked it up into the dummy load and it dk about 3 watts swinging to about 15 so it's working. Sounds good in the monitor radio. Could be a cool one for a collector of old Browning radios or if you know someone wanting to play a little Am radio.

Not bad for a 50 year old rig,
1975 and still going.
I dont know if the radios we are buying today will still be working 50 years from now.

$139.95 in '75 shows how expensive radios were back then. And a $ was worth a bit more at that time. As a teen all I could do was dream of affording a new SSB radio like the Browning Baron.

Paired with one of those Browning key-up noise toys on eBay, it’ll be a pretty cool little rig.

Does a standard 4-pin mic (Cobra, Uniden, etc.) work with Browning mobile radios?

Jim. It's a 4 pin mic that came with it but I'm not sure about the wiring.
